Design as a discipline, not decoration.

I design the way race cars are built: purpose first, every part earning its place, and nothing tuned without data to back it. Before design, I trained as a visual journalist, and I actively run Spaceman Media, where storytelling and motorsport taught me how people actually read a frame. Two years working as a designer and researcher with Veterans on the My HealtheVet Pharmacy redesign taught me that the best interface is the one a person stops noticing. I'm looking for a team that treats design as a discipline, not decoration.

My work sits at the seam between research and systems: mapping what people actually do, then building the patterns that make the right thing the easy thing.
